Ipsita Choudhury was born in 1995 in Kolkata and brought up in her hometown Karimganj, Assam. She has completed masters in Sociology from the University of Calcutta. She has also done one certificate course in psychological counseling from Basanti Devi College, Kolkata. She wrote papers on social issues while pursuing masters.
Besides being an avid reader, she is associated with music. A few of her microtales were published online by pages like Half Baked Beans and Innervoice.
