“Health is Wealth”
This is one underrated, taken for granted, simple quote that summarizes man’s journey in life. A healthy life comprises of healthy life style, healthy mental balance and a healthy soul. It’s just not the perfect body and the absence of any disease or extra fat here and there. We are all so busy in our everyday lives that we miss the most important basic requirement of life, a healthy body. With so much information on the internet we can definitely arrive at the best suited plan to lose weight and stay healthy. Regular effort to stay healthy is the best way to live. The limited monthly weight loss programs do help but on temporary basis. They work like the ping-pong ball, ones the stipulated time is over the weight returns back to normal or even more than what it actually was.
Slow and steady wins the race
Patience is virtue for today’s mankind. We all want immediate results and hence end of taking wrong decisions. Our body comprises of several functions and each function needs to be taken care of with maximum care.
Meditation is one of the best ways to maintain physical and mental health overall. It initiates the metabolism of the body and relieves us from unwanted stress that has accumulated in the years. Meditation is one of the proven areas where the health of the meditator improves drastically but needs time to work on our body. Meditation means relaxation, of both the mind and the body. If the person feels relaxed doing what he loves that is also a form of meditation. Meditation increases the metabolism of the body and in turn helps in the overall development of the person’s health.
Food is the most important feature that can directly work on the health of the person. Go for natural food rather than processed food. Processed food has chemicals to preserve it. These chemicals can ruin our health on a long run. Opting for natural food in early stages of life is a very good practice. Junk food should be totally avoided or eaten very rarely.
Exercise daily
Exercise is the key to good health. It is not necessary that the person visits the gym daily to maintain good health. Everyday brisk walk is also enough. A consistent exercise pattern will definitely yield results. Swimming, Yoga, Walking, Dancing and cycling are considered very helpful when practiced with care, caution and common sense. In cycling there is really no specific style that needs to be adapted. Stick to plain surface roads and gearless bikes. Choose a bike that is not too short for your height. At the same time be sure that your feet touch the road so the bike is not too high for you. This might harm your balance. Stay away from altitude terrains and mountain biking in the initial biking days.
Final Reminder– Unhealthy mind is an indication of unhealthy body.
